HAPPY NEW YEAR!! It's time for our first challenge of 2013 and we're doing something a little different here. I assigned each of my DT members a month to come up with challenges, so this month, we're being challenged by Ali!! This week, Ali is challenging us to "STEAM PUNK" those layouts!! This is out of the box for a few of us .. but how fun!!!!
What exactly is "Steampunk"??
"Are you into the steampunk grunge move??? Well let me tell you it is hitting the scrapbook and beading industry thats for sure. Everywhere you look watch parts, gears, metal mania. Tim Holtz one of the designers for Ranger products has came out with a great line of products called Idea-ology which you can view here. They are using these in mixed media art, scrapbooking, jewelry making you name it." Here's some inspiration for you from Tim Holtz. I hope this can get you going!
And here's some FAB inspiration from the DT!!! As I said, this is a first for a few of us .. thank you to Ali for getting us to go out of our box!!
