Fond Farewell and More

Good morning friends! Karen here, and it's time for a little heart to heart chat from me to you. When I started this challenge, I approached Denise to see if she wanted to run it with me and we decided what can we lose? So we ran with it and over the months it's really grown and the appreciation we receive through comments and emails is pretty amazing. Our readers love that there is a digital challenge out there. Our initial thought was 100% digital but we found a lot of ppl are still a little nervous to try that, so we opened it up - as long as there is ONE digital element, you're good to go! And that made a world of difference. Since then, life has changed - that happens right? I stepped down from designing as I just don't have the time but I tried to stay involved. Life apparently keeps happening - who knew? LOL! So I recently approached my team about either a) shutting down DSC OR b) someone taking it over. Instead, my super supportive team offered up suggestions to keep us going and help me to become involved again .. as of May we will be going monthly. So our challenge will last all month long which will give everyone time to get those projects in AND we'll be allowing FIVE entries per person as long as they have ONE digital element. All entries will be entered to win the prize pack of the month, providing all rules are followed. We'll be doing features all month long too! So this will give us time to really show off those gorgeous entries we receive and let you know how much we appreciate you and your support. 

On that note, we're also saying goodbye to Carmen - again, life happens and she's just no longer able to make that commitment. This working thing really cuts into our craft and blogging time! Carmen, thank you so much for everything - stepping up and taking over the sponsorship's, your creativity; everything! You'll be missed but hopefully you'll have time to play once in awhile!

We are looking for someone to come on our team as Sponsorship Coordinator. You will be responsible for looking for and dealing with our sponsors direct, providing the images for our DT as well as being the liaison between our winners and sponsors.
